Hi Tim,
Just want to give you a follow up from the training you did with our crew. A surprise bonus was that it helped the crew see the big picture of our company so they could take more ownership of their part. It was also a real boost of information and inspiration for Phil, our production manager. He immediately adapted the daily planner for our carpenters and handed it out at the next production meeting. I don't know how much each carpenter is using it on a daily basis but the number of trips to the lumber yards has already dropped by half.
To sweeten the deal and encourage the guys to plan ahead, we told the crew that if the carpenter drops his trips to the stores to 10 per month that we would double his tool allowance each month he achieved the goal. Phil made a list of commonly used items for the guys and researched delivery costs at all the different places we use for materials and found most have either no delivery charge or it was at least much much less than the hours of production lost on the driving time.
It's early in the first month after your visit but deliveries are up and trips to the stores are way down. Bottom line, I have to admit we should have done this a year ago when you and I first talked about it but there you go, better now than never.
So thanks again Tim. We're looking forward to the follow up visits to help keep the systems working.

Tim,
Glad you made it home safe. Just to let you know, I was talking to Chris this morning about the class. I really enjoyed the presentation. I told Chris, I especially liked the way you interviewed each one of us. This really made your presentation very personal and customized to the "real world" at Sun Country Restoration. Your class and ideas have really motivated me. I plan to use your suggestions and documents right away. I would highly recommend you to any construction company doing business out there no matter what type of construction they specialize in. We hope to see you again in the near future and looked very forward to having you out again. Thank you so much for your inspiration and knowledge at better servicing our clients and working as a better team.

Mr. Tim,
The hard copy of your latest email just surfaced and prompted me to sent this note. I assume you read the article in September's Remodeling Magazine regarding "The Road to Good Meetings" in which you and I were among the quoted sources. For me it was a tremendous honor to be recognized on a national level, but I hope that you appreciate that it was your coaching and influence that honed my meetings. Your visit to our company here in Toledo was a pivotal point in my (our) success. Your field evaluation and advise in the office have been the foundation for developing our systems and our Team.
In today's economy I am especially proud to say that my field and my office teams will rival any team in the industry.
Thanks again for your support in the past and I will continue to recommend Tim Faller and your Lead Carpenter program to anyone who will listen.
Thank You,
Brad Geer

Tim - Glad you had a good trip and thanks for the referral. We had the best "pass the baton" today for that large loss - I put in motion some procedures
and we were all amazed at how many future problems are already avoided by
putting some concentrated effort into planning and prepping for the client
walk! I am making 4 large white Communication Boards for our smaller
projects that I think are going to be a big hit with client and Lead.
